こだわり — kodawari — is the Japanese idea of stubborn, uncompromising devotion to craft. It is the reason a shop in Osaka will spend a decade refining one exhaust system, and it is the standard we hold our catalog to. We do not sell everything. We sell the parts that a builder who actually cares would put on their own car.

Our store exists to make that buying decision easier. Instead of sorting through thousands of listings that almost fit, you start from your vehicle and work outward: a fitment-verified catalog organized by chassis, a wheel tool that searches by spec or by your car's factory fitment, and a CARB Executive Order lookup so you know where a part stands before you buy it. Parts that are not street-legal in California are flagged, not buried.

We build for people with a specific car in mind. The WRX that has been on the same set of coils since college. The GT-R waiting on a turbo kit. The Civic Type R daily that still sees track weekends. The RX-7 restoration that has cost more than anyone planned. Whether you are buying one manifold or planning a full build, the goal is the same: the right part, in the right spec, the first time.

Kodawari-USA is built and run by a small team of enthusiasts based in the United States, working directly with brands and their US distributors. The same people who answer the fitment question are the ones who choose what goes in the catalog. If a part does not meet the bar, we would rather not list it.
